This role sits within the Work Health and Safety area, this team will deliver work health and safety compliance, training and enquiry management across Housing Portfolio. Key activities for this team include the development, implementation and updating of WHS policies, procedures and guidelines, internal staff and external contractor WHS reporting, person and property alert projects and WHS Newsletters, awareness projects and training. The Senior Project Officer will be responsible for the Development, management and implementation of a broad range of programs and projects across the team to support and improve service delivery. What you'll do You will be responsible for developing, planning, and managing various projects to deliver initiatives for Housing Portfolio, while also leading and motivating project team members when necessary to achieve project goals. Your duties will involve managing and overseeing projects, including developing and monitoring project plans, coordinating resources, managing budgets, and preparing project-related documents for key stakeholders, such as status updates, reports, budgets, and discussion papers. Additionally, you will undertake research, identify and analyse options, and recommend solutions to support the development of key projects across Housing Portfolio. You will also monitor, evaluate, and analyse the performance of key projects, providing advice to inform decision-making processes. Managing projects aimed at reviewing, monitoring, and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of service delivery, as well as whole-of-asset and portfolio management within Housing Portfolio, will be part of your responsibilities. Providing timely advice and communication to key stakeholders across Housing Portfolio regarding project status and implementation issues is crucial. You will also offer high-level advice and support to project team members and stakeholders in undertaking tasks and implementing project plans and discussion papers as required. Collaborating with business partners to support the implementation of new products, processes, and services is another aspect of your role. Lastly, you will contribute to the development of project management methodologies and processes across Housing Portfolio. What we're looking for Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
