Roster: Monday–Friday, 4am starts Location: Dubbo, NSW
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Offsider to support the driver of a front‑lift dump truck. This role involves moving large waste bins into position for collection and ensuring efficient, safe operations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Pull, present, and position large waste bins—including metal bins on castors—for the driver to load.
* Retrieve bins from bin rooms, behind gates, and other enclosed areas (approximately 75% require unlocking or moving).
* Assist with kerbside waste collection, including lifting and loading items into the rear of the truck using safe manual‑handling techniques.
* Complete basic paperwork or collection records as required.
* Work effectively as part of a small team to maintain safe and efficient daily operations.
* Availability for semi‑regular weekend work is preferred.
Skills & Experience
* Current Driver’s Licence.
* Strong safety awareness and commitment to safe work practices.
* Reliable, with a solid work ethic and consistent attendance.
* Physically fit and capable of performing repetitive or routine manual tasks.
* Good communication skills and the ability to follow directions.
