Job Description
The Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR) program is a major initiative to transform the healthcare system in NSW. It aims to provide a secure, holistic, and integrated view of patient care across the state. This program will bring together different healthcare teams and clinicians, enabling them to access patient information in real-time from one source.
As a Senior Legal Officer, you will work within the SDPR Implementation Authority (SDPRIA), providing legal, governance, and policy advice on various matters related to the SDPR. You will be responsible for reviewing proposals, ensuring that liability, statutory, and other obligation issues are properly addressed.
You will also develop policies, procedures, guidelines, and templates for the SDPR, liaising with senior executives and government agencies to ensure the health system's obligations are recognized.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Legal qualifications, admission as a Legal practitioner to the Supreme Court of NSW, and eligibility for a current practising certificate from the NSW Law Society
* Extensive legal experience in commercial, privacy, and governance or other matters
* Applied analytical skills, including the ability to analyze and interpret complex information from numerous sources
* Excellent organizational skills and experience working in a high-volume and demanding professional environment
