About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to work in Drug and Alcohol Services on a part-time temporary basis. The successful candidate will work three days a week, Tuesday to Thursday, as a secondment. No prior experience in Drug and Alcohol is required, as all necessary training will be provided.
The role involves working within a multidisciplinary team that includes counsellors, nurses, social workers, and medical staff. We are looking for an individual with a non-judgmental attitude and a desire to assist those who are vulnerable and marginalized.
The service supports consumers with various substance use issues, offering access to the Opioid Treatment Program, counselling, and specialist medical services in a community-based outpatient setting.
