Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Building Surveyor, based in Sydney, NSW. The Building Surveyor will be responsible for assessing and ensuring compliance of building projects with relevant codes and regulations, managing building certification processes, conducting on-site inspections, and providing guidance for project plans and documentation. The role involves collaborating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to address technical challenges and ensure the success of projects.
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards, including experience with Building Certification, BCA (Building Code of Australia), and Access/DDA Consultancy
* Experience conducting on-site building inspections and technical due diligence
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, contractors, and team members
* Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to provide accurate assessments and solutions
* Relevant university degree or qualification in Building Surveying, Architecture, or a related discipline
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
* Registered Building Surveyor (Unrestricted) certification is highly desirable
* Knowledge of local building regulations relevant to New South Wales is an advantage
