Job Overview
The Solutions Consultant role involves providing technical leadership and expertise to customers, guiding them through their security transformation journey. This includes defining technical solutions that secure a customer's key business imperatives and ensuring value realization of their investment.
Key Responsibilities
* Meet sales targets by building strategic account plans targeting cross-platform solutions
* Understand customer business requirements and position Palo Alto Networks Platform solutions to create business value
* Drive customer adoption of the platform, building relationships and helping customers achieve productivity, efficiency, and flexibility to innovate
* Conduct discovery to understand and articulate key technical, operational, and commercial imperatives
* Work with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams to ensure overall customer implementation and adoption
* Demonstrate strong communication skills, influencing through presentations and demos, and conducting technical engagements and workshops
* Lead successful technical validation efforts to ensure technical wins in assigned opportunities
* Promote end-to-end solutions that include PANW and/or partner professional services to ensure customers realize business value sooner
Qualifications
* 6+ years experience in pre-sales/sales engineering
* Skilled in Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, or Private/Public Cloud Security
* Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence new business initiatives
* Influencing and gaining buy-in from key stakeholders, either in a customer-facing or internal role
* Creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements
