About the role
This full-time Accounts Officer role at Geofabrics Australasia Pty Ltd' is based in Ormeau, Queensland. As part of the Accounting team, you will be responsible for a range of financial duties to support the smooth operation of the business.
What you'll be doing
* Processing accounts payable transactions
* Payroll for approximately 35 employees + contractors
* Daily Production Data Validation & investigation into discrpencies
* Costing of spare parts
* Answer incoming calls and greeting visitors as required
* Assisting with month-end and year-end accounting procedures
* Providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
* Adhering to financial policies and procedures
* Performing other ad-hoc accounting and administrative duties as required
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years' experience in an Accounts Officer or similar role
* Must have experience in all aspects of Payroll
* Strong attention to detail and numeracy skills
* Proficiency in using accounting software such as Excel
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Problem-solving and analytical abilities
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
