Our client is a respected public practice accounting and advisory firm with strong roots across Far North Queensland. They deliver trusted services in business advisory, accounting, SMSF and financial planning, and are known for long-standing client relationships and a supportive, growth-focused culture.
They are seeking an experienced Accountant Manager to join their leadership team. This role will oversee day-to-day operations, manage workflows, and work closely with Partners to drive efficiency, compliance and client service excellence. Key responsibilities include practice administration, quality assurance, staff leadership, financial compliance and identifying process improvements.
The ideal candidate will have proven practice or operations management experience in professional services (ideally accounting or financial services), strong leadership and business acumen and a detail-oriented, improvement-focused mindset. Qualifications in business, accounting or administration are highly regarded, along with excellent communication and leadership skills.
