The Payroll Officer will ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees across Australia and New Zealand, in full compliance with company policies, legislative requirements, and applicable industrial instruments.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end payroll for approximately 220 employees across Australia and New Zealand.
* Process and present month and year end reporting to stakeholders, including STP and superannuation.
* Preparation and processing of payroll tax, including year-end reconciliation.
* Assisting in the preparation of budget reports.
* Drive payroll process improvements and support system implementations for greater efficiency.
Your Profile
* 5+ years' experience as a Payroll Officer in a similar role
* Strong knowledge of Australian payroll compliance, awards and EBAs
* Experience managing weekly and monthly pay cycles.
* Demonstrated experience in handling projects and managing change effectively within payroll operations.
* Intermediate Excel Skills
* Experience with Micropay - Highly Desirable
* Experience with processing NZ payroll
