Team Lead – Allied Health (Occupational Therapist / Speech Pathologist) Pakenham, VIC | Community & NDIS | Flexible Working Options I'm recruiting this role on behalf of a national allied health provider in South East Melbourne. A people-first organisation with tangible internal progression opportunities their key focus. Picture this 7:55am. You pull into the hub. There's already someone at the coffee machine. Someone else is laughing about something that happened on the weekend. One of your clinicians spots you walking in and says "oh good, you're here - can I grab five minutes before the day kicks off?" You say yes, obviously. That's kind of your whole thing. This isn't a desk job with a fancy title. You're out in the community with your own clients, back at the hub coaching a clinician through a tricky case, then jumping on a call with your Hub Lead to talk strategy for the next quarter. You lead a team of around 10 - Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, a Senior Clinician, an Occupational Therapist Mentor - brilliant humans who are passionate about the work they do. Wednesday morning rolls around and the whole team is on site. There's energy in the room. You celebrate a win (the team is tracking for their performance bonus - again), make sure everyone knows what they need, and get back to it. Your admin team has already cleared your afternoon so you can focus on clinical. Three client sessions, each one a reminder of why you got into this in the first place. The Pakenham team isn't just high-performing. They're a family. They opened the site two years ago, grew fast, and built something most teams take a decade to find. Social events happen in business hours (yes, really). People actually like coming to work. And as Team Leader, you're the heartbeat of all of it.
