We're seeking an Asset Manager Technology to lead the charge in maintaining an accurate and efficient inventory of our IT assets, including hardware and software licenses. This greenfield role is a unique opportunity to shape and manage the entire asset lifecycle, from implementation to optimisation. What will your key responsibilities include?
o Maintain and develop an accurate inventory of all in scope IT assets, including hardware, software, licenses, and peripherals.
o Implement and maintain strategies for the lifecycle management including warranties, licenses, and maintenance contracts.
o Implement and maintain asset management system and tools for tracking and reporting purposes.
o Produce and distribute reports on asset status, asset usage and license compliance.
o Oversee the IT asset budget, including forecasting and cost control.
What are we looking for?
o Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (Information Technology, Computer Science, etc).
o Proven experience in asset management within a medium to large organisation, ideally within financial services or a similar environment.
o Familiarity with ITSM platforms (i.e. ServiceNow), Microsoft SCCM, and agile methodologies.
o Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to stakeholders.
o Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively and influence outcomes with a wide range of stakeholders.
o Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
