**A bit about the role**
The Senior Test Analyst is a highly motivated professional with quality-oriented mind-set. They are passionate about testing and ready to pick up automation and exploratory tests that cover functional and non-functional requirements.
The Senior Test Analyst will be a key contributor to the development and establishment the testing procedures and tools for the agile development teams that cater for the omni-channel online and mobile banking components of Rabobank. The role will ensure that he has guided through the transition from Waterfall to Agile testing methodologies and following the S&S way of working.

**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:

- Championing QA by being an active scrum team member and vocal contributor
- Writing Test Plans and Test Scenarios (Gherkin)
- Developing, maintaining and enhancing test procedures
- Increase QA productivity and efficiency with automation
- Assist with the build and maintenance of test automation (e.g. Cucumber, Protractor & Selenium)
- Help development team to write software with a focus on testability
- Working closely with the product owner, business analysts and developers in requirements analysis
- Perform testing of the functional specifications, interface and report specifications for systems
- Perform exploratory testing
- Perform static testing of the business process documents and any other deliverables that will form the basis of testing
- Provide coaching and assistance to the teams as required to ensure the testing deadlines are met
- Communicate any potential issues or delay to the project manager where appropriate
- Ensure daily test documentations are up-to-date and produce necessary reporting required in accordance with the standards and procedures set out by the project
- Technical and Specialist Skills
- Experience writing BDD (Gherkin) test scenarios
- Experience with test automation in one of the following: Web, Mobile, Web Services
- Experience with test automation frameworks;
- HTML/CSS knowledge;
- Web services knowledge (e.g. REST, SOAP);
- Experience with Protractor/Selenium framework;
- Experience in programming (preferably Java and/or JavaScript);
- Experience with continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Maven);
- Experience with QTest or similar
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:
Experience writing Gherkin test scenarios.
Experience with working with test automation frameworks.
Experience with Continuous Integration.
5 years professional testing experience.
Experience working in an agile (Scrum) environment.
Testing experience in banking environments.
Testing experience in online systems.
Desirable:
Bachelor in Computer Science or similar or equivalent through experience.
ISTQB or equivalent certifications.
Experience with Continuous Delivery.
