About the role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team at CMP CORP PTY LTD. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair tasks across the Gold Coast. This is a casual role which may lead to full time for the right applicant.
Responsibilities
* Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment, including power, lighting, and control systems
* Install new electrical components, wiring, and equipment according to plans and specifications
* Interpret and follow electrical diagrams, blueprints, and other technical documents
* Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
* Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations
* Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects effectively
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Requirements
* Qualified Electrician with a current Australian electrical license
* Minimum 2 years of experience working as a qualified Electrician in a commercial or industrial setting
* Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and schematics
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Mechanical aptitude
