Safety Leaders - Delta FM

We are currently seeking experienced Safety Leaders with a strong background in Facilities Management to support our Delta FM team. This role leads a team of safety professionals and is key in shaping and maintaining our safety culture. The successful candidate will develop and maintain a comprehensive safety management system that engages all levels of the business.
ESS provides multi-service capabilities to major companies operating in remote sites, such as gold mines and coal fields. We support workplaces in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian outback.
The Position
* Assist in incident investigations to identify root causes and ensure corrective actions are completed; maintain the incident management database
* Initiate and manage safety improvement, education, and achievement/monitoring programs within regions
* Support and uphold company certification to Australian and International standards, in line with external HSEQ audits
* Build relationships with clients to demonstrate how our operations and programs effectively manage risks and add value to their business strategies
* Assist in tender preparations and presentations, including developing Management Plans
* Stay informed about regulatory changes and communicate updates to stakeholders
* Analyze safety performance metrics and trends to identify improvement areas; provide regular reports
* Assist in selecting, onboarding, and managing subcontractors and suppliers
The Person
* Proven experience in leading safe operations and influencing senior leaders to implement HSEQ standards and procedures
* Experience in implementing and monitoring HSEQ programs in a multi-service environment
* Degree or Diploma in a relevant field and/or Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
* Experience working within a trades environment
* Ability to manage relationships with stakeholders, including subcontractors, clients, and industry bodies
* Qualifications in ICAM investigations and root cause analysis (preferred)
* Experience with Rapidgobal subcontractor management software (preferred)
