We are seeking talented and motivated recruitment officers to join our Federal Government Department in Canberra. The positions available are at the APS4-6 level and we are offering both labour-hire and non-ongoing options.
You will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will also have experience in talent management and a strong understanding of selection processes.
In addition to the duties outlined above, as a recruitment officer at the APS4-6 level, you will be expected to perform the following core duties:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies that meet the needs of the department
- Advise hiring managers on recruitment processes and best practices
- Coordinate and conduct interviews, reference checks, and other selection activities
- Keep accurate records of all recruitment activities
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of recruitment policies and procedures
- Attend and participate in recruitment-related meetings and training as required
