Working collaboratively with a range of clinical services, you will support patients in our 28-bed unit to achieve optimal recovery outcomes. The role focuses on delivering safe, high-quality, and patient-centred care in a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families. You will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to promote and maintain clinical standards, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality care. Key responsibilities include: * Supporting the operational and clinical management of the unit * Promoting best practice standards and continuous quality improvement * Assisting with workforce planning, supervision, and development of staff * Contributing to effective and sustainable resource and cost management * Supporting a culture of safety, collaboration, and patient-centred care What you bring * A Registered Nurse - holding a current Registration Certificate as required by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). * Role models the Southwest Healthcare values. * A minimum of five years post graduate nursing experience, with demonstrated excellent clinical assessment skills. * Demonstrated strong clinical, safety and professional standards within the Emergency environment, including patient centred care. * Demonstrated commitment to professional development of self and others. * Demonstrated ability to communicate orally, electronically and in writing. * Demonstrated decision making ability, a role model, problem solving and supervising staff.
