Our Intensive Care Units are at the forefront of critical care, catering to a diverse range of patients and medical specialisations.Monash Medical Centre, Clayton - Adult ICU is a 27-bed tertiary referral centre specializing in Neurosurgery, Neurology, Obstetrics, General Medicine, and Surgery, with over **** admissions per year.A Day in the Life of a Registered Nurse in the TSP -ICU programThe program will comprise tutorials, clinical hurdles and assessments, along with providing nursing care to the patients in the Intensive Care Unit.Your learning objectives will be guided and supported by our Clinical Educators dedicated within the respective intensive care units.These are Part Time, Fixed Term roles (to start February ****), working across supported clinical shifts within the unit, in preparation for you to take on further studies within Critical Care studies.At the completion of the TSP program, you will gain knowledge and confidence in a range of skills and competencies, with the ability to:Contributing to a safe and effective patient care environmentAssessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating interventionsProviding competent care to patients requiring ventilatory and oxygenation supportIdentifying critical illness consequencesWhat you bringWe are seeking motivated Registered Nurses with acute nursing experience, who are eager to make a difference in the lives of critically ill patients.A commitment to patient-centred care and advocacyRecent or Current acute nursing experienceStrong time management and communication skillsCurrent AHPRA registrationEmployee-level Working with Children Check cardIn Return:Joining Monash Health means becoming part of a supportive community that values your growth and development.
