About the Position
We're looking for a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. This is a service-focused role, and you'll work across rotating sections in a high-volume environment, delivering consistently high-quality food. You'll be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to a high standard while maintaining efficiency during service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work across different kitchen sections, handling both prep and service.
* Maintain high culinary standards with consistency in food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
* Follow kitchen hygiene, WH&S, food safety, and stock management procedures, including rotation and labelling.
* Oversee daily cleaning routines and ensure proper storage and maintenance of stock.
* Work collaboratively with senior chefs, assisting in handovers and guiding apprentices when required.
About You:
* 2–3 years of experience in a professional kitchen, ideally in a similar role.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Passion for quality produce and well-executed food.
The Cliffy's Emporium team is managed by Walter Christy Pty Ltd, which also oversees the management of local pub, Daylesford Hotel. While each venue has a distinct identity, both share a focus on exceptional food, great service, and creating memorable dining experiences.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
