From tackling cyberbullying and child sexual exploitation, to confronting emerging harms brought about by new innovations such as generative AI and immersive technologies, we oversee Australia's online safety landscape.
Sitting within the Strategic Communications Branch, the Digital Content and Publishing team leads eSafety's digital content strategy and manages eSafety's website as a vehicle for program delivery and user engagement. This includes co-creating webpages and resources and providing wider editorial services.
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Digital Publishing Assistant to learn from a team of experienced editors and publishers who produce unique, world-leading information that helps people navigate the complexities of the global digital environment.
You will be able to put your own document formatting and admin skills to good use, contributing to the end-to-end digital publishing process. You will have regular opportunities to be involved in ideation, development, website design and promotion of engaging content.

To be successful in this role you will have a careful eye for detail, be highly organised and enjoy collaborating. You'll be able to proactively manage competing priorities and handle confidential information.
The following would also be highly regarded:
* Experience or training in digital publishing or a related field.
* Experience creating and amending Word documents, PDFs and web content.
