Core Lithium has now reached Final Investment Decision (FID), marking the official restart of the Finniss Lithium Operation and the next phase of growth. As we power back into production, this is an opportunity to be part of recharging a critical operation at the centre of the global battery supply chain.
Our preference is to build a long‐term, Darwin‐based workforce, offering residential drive‐in, drive‐out roles that allow you to be home every night. We also recognise the value of broader talent and welcome applications from candidates open to relocating to Darwin (with relocation support available) or those considering fly‐in, fly‐out arrangements. About the Opportunities
We are seeking a Production Geologist and Senior Geologists to support mining operations across the Finniss site.
Reporting to the Mine Manager, these roles will work across both open pit mining at Grants and the development of the BP33 underground operation. Working in a back‐to‐back structure, you will play a key role in grade control, ore delineation, and supporting safe and efficient production outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver grade control and ore mark‐up for open pit and underground operations
* Interpret geological data to support mining decisions and optimise ore recovery
* Conduct mapping, sampling, and reconciliation activities
* Collaborate closely with mining, planning, and processing teams
* Provide timely and accurate geological information to support production
* Maintain geological databases and reporting systems
* Contribute to continuous improvement in grade control and geological practices
About You
We are interested in both experienced Senior Geologists and Production Geologists looking to grow within a dynamic mining environment.
You will bring:
* Degree in Geology or related discipline
* Experience in production or grade control geology within mining operations
* Exposure to open pit mining, with underground experience highly regarded
* Strong geological interpretation and data management skills
* Experience with geological software (e.g. Surpac, Leapfrog or similar)
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
* Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence
* Valid Australian driver's licence
About Core Lithium
Core Lithium is an ASX‐listed resources company focused on the restart of the Finniss Operation near Darwin in the Northern Territory. With open pit mining at the Grants deposit targeted to recommence in May 2026, feeding the site's existing lithium processing plant, and underground development at BP33 planned later in the year, the operation is entering an important new phase of production.
As part of this restart, Core Lithium is undertaking a significant recruitment campaign to rebuild the operational workforce across mining and processing. We are seeking expressions of interest from individuals who are Darwin‐based or interested in relocating to the Northern Territory to join the operation on a residential drive‐in/drive‐out rosters, with relocation assistance available for suitable candidates.
