The Opportunity
SOMA is a premium retreat and events destination hosting transformative experiences — from curated retreats to corporate offsites, weddings and private events. We're seeking a commercially minded sales leader to drive bookings and elevate SOMA's market presence.
As the Retreat & Events Sales Manager, you'll own our revenue and booking strategy, ensuring the calendar is strategically filled and aligned with SOMA's brand and growth goals.

What You'll Do
* Drive bookings and revenue across retreats, corporate events, weddings and private experiences
* Fill the calendar strategically to maximise occupancy, yield and brand alignment
* Convert enquiries, generate outbound leads and maintain a strong sales pipeline
* Conduct site tours, prepare proposals and negotiate high‐value contracts
* Build relationships with corporates, facilitators, planners and event partners
* Collaborate on retreat concepts, pricing and profitability
* Monitor booking trends, forecasting and upsell opportunities
* Ensure accurate contracts, deposits and payment schedules
* Manage accounts receivable and ensure all payments are received prior to events
About You
* Commercially driven with a strong sales instinct and target focus
* 5+ years' experience in events, hospitality or venue sales
* Confident closing high value bookings and presenting premium experiences
* Skilled in managing relationships with corporate clients and facilitators
* Highly organised with excellent follow through and pipeline management
* Proactive, accountable and calm under pressure
* Energised by hitting (and exceeding) revenue and occupancy goals.
