Elderly Care is seeking experienced Personal Care Workers to join our dedicated team in Cypress Gardens Aged Care Residences. This Part-time role will see you providing high-quality care and support to our elderly residents, ensuring their physical, emotional and social needs are met with compassion and professionalism.
What you'll be doing
* Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility
* Monitoring and recording residents' health, dietary and personal care needs
* Engaging residents in social, recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance their wellbeing
* Maintaining a safe, clean and comfortable living environment for residents
* Communicating effectively with residents, their families and the broader care team
* Adhering to all company policies, procedures and quality standards
What we're looking for
* A Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent qualification
* Demonstrated experience in providing person-centred care to elderly residents
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships
* A caring, compassionate and empathetic nature
* The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
* A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality
