- Academic Level B $112,717 - $133,853 + 17% Superannuation
- Teaching intensive role in a leading Speech Pathology program

**The Role**

As a Lecturer in Speech Pathology (teaching intensive), you will develop, teach and coordinate undergraduate courses whilst contributing to the overall growth of the Speech Pathology discipline.

In this role you will:

- Provide high-quality academic education in Speech Pathology in a hybrid online and in person teaching environment
- Coordinate and teach interprofessional courses delivered to all disciplines within Health Sciences
- Continue to build your research portfolio and produce quality research outputs
- Contribute to and drive educational research and scholarship in Speech Pathology and expand education scholarship/research collaborations within the discipline, multidisciplinary teams and with our clinical partners
- Engage in and contribute to administrative and service activities within the school of health sciences, as well as the wider college and university, the profession and community

The role is a teaching intensive role requiring 70% teaching, 20% research and 10% service.

This continuing position is full time and will be located primarily at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal and Worimi land).

**About You**

You will be experienced in student teaching and supporting student learning. You will also have a developing record of producing high quality research outcomes commensurate with experience.

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have completed or progressing towards finishing a PhD in Speech Pathology
- Currently hold or be eligible for membership of Speech Pathology Australia
- Demonstrate interdisciplinary experience which can contribute to coordination and teaching into interprofessional and Work Integrated Learning courses
- Be able to contribute to curriculum design and course coordination with large undergraduate courses and experience with face-to-face, hybrid and online teaching models.
- Show demonstratable clinical and/or teaching experience with adult caseloads and knowledge of contemporary practices
- Have experience or an understanding of the Australian Healthcare System
- The foundation to build a strong research portfolio
- Applications are particularly encouraged from individuals with expertise in voice and/or swallowing._
