Road Construction Team Member

We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Roads Construction team member to join our crew! If you enjoy outdoor work, operating plant, and being part of a supportive team, this could be the role for you.
About the Role
As a member of our Road Construction team, you will help deliver day-to-day maintenance and construction works across the municipality. You will work safely and efficiently to maintain sealed and unsealed roads, signage and line marking, and support general civil works.
Your day-to-day will include:
* Maintenance of sealed and unsealed roads
* Signage and line-marking
* Operation and basic maintenance of trucks, plant and machinery
* Accurate recording of works and defects using electronic systems
* Working safely and collaboratively as part of a team
Teamwork & Safety

Plant & Equipment Operation
You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of equipment, including:
* Safely operate heavy plant and equipment.
* Drive three-axle rigid vehicles over 8 tonnes GVM where required.
* Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs.
* Keeping all plant and equipment clean, safe and in good working order.

What we are looking for:
We would love to hear from you if you have:
* Experience working with a variety of plant and equipment
* Experience in road maintenance and/or civil construction
* The ability to work outdoors in a physically demanding role
* Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
* Willingness to multi-skill and work flexible hours, including early starts
* Ability to complete a variety of tasks with minimal supervision
Pre-Employment Requirements
* Heavy Rigid (HR) licence
* Front-End Loader competency
* Satisfactory Police Check.

* Work-life balance: 9 day fortnight (38-hour week)
* Competitive salary of approximately $1,344 per week ($69,907 per annum) including industry allowances. In addition, super is paid at 15%.
