Specialist Medical Practitioner - Alcohol and Drug Service
The role requires a Specialist Medical Practitioner to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and with key stakeholders to ensure the ongoing effectiveness of the public and private sector Pharmacotherapy Program.
* This involves exercising significant independent clinical judgement in completing primary tasks.
* Acting with integrity and an ethically honourable manner is essential.
Additional responsibilities include:
1. Maintaining current and valid registration/licenses at all times during employment, with status checked as needed.
2. Complying with relevant medical board regulations and guidelines.
Key Qualifications and Skills
* Holding Specialist or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia in a relevant specialty.
* Demonstrating strong communication and teamwork skills.

About the Role
This permanent full-time position requires working 76 hours per fortnight, with hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
