THE ROLE
As a Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering tailor made automation masterpieces, from greenfield setups to complex brownfield upgrades.
Key responsibilities include:
* Designing, developing, and maintaining industrial automation systems across diverse sectors (Oil & Gas, Water, BMS, and Renewables).
* Working closely with stakeholders to craft practical, fit-for-purpose technical solutions.
* Proactively identifying hazards and ensuring all systems meet stringent safety protocols.
* Constantly hunting for new tools and vendor technologies to boost efficiency and stay ahead of industry trends.
ABOUT YOU
You are a field ready, flexible, Control System Engineer who enjoys autonomy. You don't just solve puzzles; you crush deadlines and thrive on the thrill of high stakes, varied projects.
Candidates must have 3-5 years of control systems experience and possess Australian work rights at the time of application.
To be successful, you will need:
* A relevant Engineering Degree.
* Deep knowledge of PLC platforms like (Rockwell/View SE, Allen Bradley, Citect, and Ignition) and SCADA/HMI configuration.
* Experience with two or more of the specified PLC platforms is required.
* Proven experience in greenfield design, functional specifications, and safety systems.
* Sharp skills in fault-finding and commissioning automation systems, instrumentation, telemetry and VSDs.
