Darwin's Bitumen scene is looking for a reliable and motivated Yard Worker to join their growing team. This company specialises in logistics, with operations already established across Australia. This is a long term opportunity for someone mechanically minded and eager to learn. You'll be working with bitumen containers, connecting equipment to generators, managing fuel, and recording temperature data via paperwork and computers.
Key Responsibilities
Heating bitumen
Connecting wires to generators
Fuel management and temperature recording
General yard duties and equipment handling
What's on Offer
$38 per hour + penalties
Monday to Saturday, local
Long term opportunity
The potential for remote away work after a couple of months
12-hour days – huge penalties to be paid
Project work 9/6 or 14/7 roster
LAHA paid
Ideal Candidate
Mechanically minded and physically fit
Motivated and looking for stable, long term work
Able to complete paperwork and basic usage on a computer
Comfortable with remote and rugged work environments
Desirable: White Card, MC Licence, Reach Stacker ticket
