About The Role
* This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to work as an Occupational Therapist for children in Darwin, Australia.
* The successful candidate will provide assessments, treatments and facilitate access to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) for various developmental disorders.
This role requires strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with children, families and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's functional abilities and develop treatment plans to address identified needs.
2. Provide individualised occupational therapy services to children, including hands-on therapy sessions and education for parents and carers.
3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless service delivery and optimal outcomes for children.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
* Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Current driver's license and willingness to travel within Darwin region.
