About the Role
Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH), established in 1882, is a major metropolitan tertiary referral hospital providing specialist healthcare. It has a longstanding reputation for serving local, statewide, national, and international communities.
Drug Health Services offers counselling and psychological interventions in a safe environment. The Counselling Program provides assessment and outpatient counselling for individuals and families seeking help with drug and alcohol-related harm, utilizing modalities like telehealth, videoconferencing, and face-to-face delivery.
This role involves providing counselling support and therapeutic interventions for individuals affected by substance use issues in an outpatient community setting.

Ideal Candidate
* Must have a Bachelor or postgraduate degree in Social Work eligible for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers OR tertiary qualifications in psychology registered with AHPRA OR recognized qualifications for registration with AHPRA OR recognized qualifications for employment as a Counsellor or Welfare Officer.
* Demonstrated experience in counselling, case management, and providing services to clients with substance use issues.
* Current NSW Driver's Licence (P1 and P2 accepted).
