As an apprentice, you will learn the essential skills and techniques required to repair and restore vehicle bodies to their original condition. This hands-on role involves working with a variety of tools and materials under the guidance of experienced panel beaters.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the repair and replacement of vehicle panels and components.
* Learn to use hand and power tools effectively and safely.
* Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and priming.
* Follow instructions and guidelines from senior panel beaters and supervisors.
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Strong interest in automotive repair and restoration.
* Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
* Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
* Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Vocational training in automotive repair or a related field (if applicable).
* Previous experience in auto body repair or a relevant internship.
