Department of Justice QLD provides the following pay range:$133,******/yr - $143,******/yr.
The role of the Ethics Consultant is to promote awareness of ethical conduct; to provide practical advice to address ethical issues that arise; to assess and arrange / conduct investigations of alleged misconduct / corrupt conduct and to liaise with the Crime and Corruption Commission (CCC) and other investigative organisations and with departmental management.
The Ethics Consultant needs to communicate effectively orally, and in writing with complainants, subject officers and witnesses, and with senior executive decision makers.
Effective presentation skills are required to lead ethics awareness-raising sessions for small to medium-sized audiences.
Responsibilities
Provide advice on ethical issues and develop policies and guidelines to educate Managers and Staff.
Raise awareness of ethical conduct through workshops and online training modules.
Assess complaints of misconduct / corrupt conduct and effectively conduct and manage a case load of investigations.
Applications to remain current for 12 months.
