About the role
The Senior Advisor Emergency Preparedness reports to the Superintendent Health and Safety. The position is focused on developing, implementing, and monitoring the Mungari Operations Mine Emergency Management Plan and emergency response capabilities.
* FIFO ex-Perth or residential in Kalgoorlie (relocation offered)
* 4:3 FIFO Roster from Perth - Monday to Thursday or 5:2:4:3 Residential

Our Mungari operation continues to strengthen following the successful completion of our mill expansion and gatehouse. In this established role, you will lead a team of ESS Officers based in the gatehouse and coordinate regular training for Mungari's emergency response team. Your success will be measured by your ability to develop the capability of the emergency response team, drive continuous improvement across all emergency management activities, and implement best‑practice initiatives in collaboration with the wider Sustainability team.

You will have:
* Experience working at a senior level within a medium to large organisation leading teams
* Proven experience in Emergency Response within an underground environment.
* Minimum 5 years in Emergency Response as a MESO
* An in-depth understanding of the WA Mining legislation and how to apply it to Emergency risk management.
* Certificate III Emergency Response Coordination or higher
* Cert III Mines Emergency Response & Rescue
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
* Certificate II Security Operations or higher
* Certificate - Authorised Drug and Alcohol Testing
* Competent user of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Gallagher, Camera view software i.e. Milestone, INX Suite, Pronto
