Looking for a senior health leadership role where your decisions genuinely matter?

NSW Health is seeking an experienced Health Service Manager (Facility) to provide operational, clinical and people leadership at Walgett Health Service, part of Western NSW Local Health District.

This is a hands-on leadership role with responsibility for the day-to-day management of services, workforce performance, resource allocation and service delivery — ensuring safe, high-quality, patient-centred care for the Walgett community.

About the role

As Health Service Manager, you will:

* Lead and support nursing, clinical and non-clinical teams through performance management, supervision and professional development
* Oversee operational planning, rostering, workforce profiles and skill mix to deliver safe and effective services within budget
* Drive quality improvement, change management and service development in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
* Ensure compliance with National Safety & Quality Health Service Standards, NSW Health policy and industrial frameworks
* Build on the current positive, resilient workplace culture in a complex rural health environment

This role suits a confident leader who can balance clinical excellence, people leadership and operational accountability, while working closely with the community.
