About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Production Permitting and Training Coordinator to become an integral part of our Manufacturing team. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity where your expertise will help ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations across our production processes.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage Permit to Work Activities: Oversee daily permit to work, isolations, and clearance activities in line with site safety policies and procedures.
* Conduct Compliance Audits: Complete audits of workplace activities to ensure compliance with permitting and safety requirements.
* Coordinate and Support Training Activities: Maintain the training matrix and oversee and facilitate the organisation of training, refreshers, and competency assessments for production staff by working closely with relevant teams, ensuring all required skills and competencies are maintained and up to date.
* Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and improve the permitting, training and other processes.
* Participate in Planning Meetings: Attend weekly planning and scheduling review meetings for maintenance work related to production facilities.
* Incident and Procedure Support: Participate in accident, incident, near miss, audit, or non-conformance investigations, ensuring timely completion and communication.
* Review and Feedback on Procedures: Provide feedback on health and safety, permit to work, and isolation/lockout and operational procedures as needed.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

* Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written, oral, and interpersonal abilities.
* Safety and Training Systems Knowledge: Understanding of permit to safety management and training management systems.
* Problem-Solving Ability: Demonstrated capability to effectively solve problems.
* Organisational and Time Management: Well-developed skills in organisation and time management.
* Technical Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret process and instrumentation drawings (P&IDs), and sound computer skills, particularly in MS Word and Excel, familiarity with Beakon will be advantageous.
