We are looking for an experienced engineer to join our multidisciplinary team delivering practical and innovative solutions across Queensland. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping real-world outcomes that enhance the built environment.
This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same blending technical challenge project leadership client engagement and mentorship. As a senior civil engineer, you will lead design delivery collaborate with internal disciplines and external consultants to deliver fully integrated outcomes.
* Take ownership of civil engineering projects from feasibility to final delivery
* Prepare DA reports and stormwater management plans that balance innovation with compliance
* Design infrastructure elements including roads intersections pavements earthworks and drainage systems
* Oversee construction phase activities including site inspections contractor coordination and contract administration
* Lead the development of high-quality tender and construction documentation
* Coordinate across internal disciplines and external consultants to deliver fully integrated outcomes
* Manage project budgets and ensure alignment with quality safety and performance standards
* Conduct site investigations and technical assessments to shape project strategy
* Review and sign off on design documentation prior to council or authority lodgement
* Act as a key liaison with architects developers contractors and regulatory bodies
* Influence design reviews risk workshops and strategic project planning
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems templates and workflows
* Mentor and support junior engineers to grow technical depth and confidence
About You
We are looking for an engineer with a passion for quality and teamwork who has:
* Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (essential)
* 10 years of experience in civil engineering design and consultancy
* Strong capability in stormwater flood modelling and pavement design
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD DRAINS MUSIC XPStorm (not essential)
* Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills
* Proven ability to manage projects stakeholders and timelines
* Solid knowledge of Australian Standards planning frameworks and engineering codes
* Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
* RPEQ registration (or eligibility)
* Must have Australian work rights
