Handy Heroes Wanted – Join Our Volunteer Maintenance Crew!
HammondCare Braeside Hospital—providing rehab, palliative care, and older persons' mental health services—is looking for practical, hands‐on volunteers who love fixing, tinkering, and helping things run smoothly.
If you're the kind of person who enjoys rolling up your sleeves and getting things done, you'll fit right in! You'll work alongside our friendly Maintenance Team, helping with a variety of tasks each week—keeping our spaces safe, tidy, and welcoming for the people we care for.
HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of people receiving care at Braeside Hospital.

Requirements
Applicants must be aged 18 years and over, HammondCare will organise and pay for a national police check. You will be required to meet NSW Dept of Health Immunisation standards for the category of this role (including HepB, Measles mumps and rubella, Tetanus, influenza or be willing to discuss meeting the requirements).
One hour each week for 6 months or longer. We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time between Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. We are looking for assistance each of those 4 days for 2-3 hours a day.
