Key Duties & Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure,
including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
• Perform system integration, configuration, and troubleshooting for Windows and
Linux server environments.
• Monitor network and system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement
optimization solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Develop and enforce network security policies, protocols, and procedures to
protect organizational data and infrastructure from cyber threats.
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and vendors to deliver technical support
and resolve complex network/system issues in a timely manner.
• Document network architectures, system configurations, operational procedures,
and technical specifications.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in
network and system engineering.
Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related
field (recognized by the Australian Computer Society - ACS).
• Minimum 3 years of full-time relevant work experience in network and systems
engineering (experience must be ACS-assessable).
• Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and network
devices (Cisco, Huawei, or equivalent).
• Relevant professional certifications are highly preferred (e.g., CCNA, CCNP,
MCSE, or equivalent).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex network and
system environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
