ABOUT THIS ROLE
As a JJ's Operations Supervisor, based at our Moranbah depot; lead our team of waste collection professionals and effectively manage daily operational goals.
The role is a mix of hands-on and office-based with consistent engagement and communication with our driving teams to achieve the desired outcomes on safety, productivity, process, compliance mentoring and training.
You will be working with a safe, modern and reliable fleet, serviced and maintained in our on-site workshop.
We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and manage a team of approx.
20+ employees, including training, mentoring and performance
Implement and fulfil operational policies and procedures
Monitor and optimise production processes to improve efficiencyEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company standards and reporting.
Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions
Establish and manage relations with customers, team members and suppliers
ABOUT YOU
Proven experience in an operations or supervisory role
Strong leadership and team management skills
HR license (or willingness to obtain)
Competent in the use of Microsoft Office suite
Self-directed, and accountable with outstanding critical thinking
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Able to successfully satisfy a pre-employment medical / drug and alcohol screen
Can provide Driving History of last 5 years
