The Role… Our customers and their consumers deserve the best retail experience. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for full-cycle sales, owning the entire process from lead generation and prospecting through to negotiation and deal close. This is a high-impact, autonomous role suited to a commercially driven sales professional who thrives in a consultative, enterprise-style sales environment. You will work closely with marketing, product, and implementation teams to win new business and establish Cybertill as a leading retail technology partner in the Australian market. What you will do… Own the end-to-end sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, discovery, product demonstrations, proposals, negotiation, and closing [Insert Role Functions] Build and manage a strong sales pipeline to achieve and exceed revenue targets [Insert Role Functions] Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target retail segments Develop compelling value-based sales propositions tailored to customer needs Proactively generate leads through outbound activity, networking, events, referrals, and partnerships Work with marketing to follow up inbound leads and support local campaign activity Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to understand customer challenges, operational complexity, and commercial drivers Deliver engaging product demonstrations and presentations Act as a trusted advisor, positioning Cybertill as a long-term strategic partner Prepare and present pricing, proposals, and business cases Lead contract negotiations in line with company policies and commercial objectives Ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline management using CRM tools Develop knowledge of the Australian retail technology landscape, competitors, and market trends Provide market feedback to product and leadership teams to support localisation and growth Who we are looking for… Someone with Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally in SaaS, retail technology, POS, or enterprise software Demonstrated success managing full sales cycles from lead generation to close Strong consultative selling and stakeholder management skills Ability to sell complex, multi-module solutions with longer sales cycles Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working autonomously Experience using CRM systems ideally HubSpot Experience selling into multi-site or enterprise retail organisations Knowledge of the Australian retail or hospitality market desirable Cybertill
