Shape pricing strategy for a national home insurance portfolio Influence portfolio performance through data-led insights Hybrid working and strong career development support About the Role As a Home Portfolio Pricing Specialist, you will support more frequent and agile pricing changes across our home insurance portfolio. Working closely with Pricing, Finance and Portfolio teams, you will support price optimisation decisions, deepen our understanding of competitor price positioning, risk cost movements and their impact on premiums. Your insights will help balance customer value, risk and revenue outcomes while delivering strong portfolio performance. What You’ll Do Support the delivery of portfolio pricing outcomes by partnering with Pricing teams to align pricing actions with business targets and strategy Analyse pricing changes, competitor movements and underlying risk cost developments to inform decision making and maintain compelling price positioning Translate pricing outcomes into clear portfolio and financial impacts, including performance against key metrics such as new business, renewals and conversion Monitor claims performance, inflation and risk trends to understand their influence on pricing outcomes and premium movements Provide modelled pricing impacts to support budgeting, forecasting and reconciliation between pricing and finance views of margin Build strong relationships across Portfolio, Pricing, Finance and Marketing teams to support timely and effective pricing deployment What You’ll Bring Experience in general insurance pricing or portfolio management, with the ability to apply data and commercial insight into real pricing decisions Strong analytical capability, including interpreting risk cost drivers, portfolio performance and financial outcomes Commercial acumen and strategic thinking, with an ability to connect pricing actions to customer, revenue and portfolio objectives Confidence communicating complex insights clearly to a range of stakeholders, both verbally and in writing A collaborative working style, with the ability to adapt priorities and support delivery in a dynamic and supportive environment A relevant degree or equivalent skills and experience in actuarial studies, finance, business or a related discipline If you require any support and adjustments to participate equitably in our recruitment process or in the workplace, we encourage you to contact luke.morandini@suncorp.com.au for a confidential conversation.
