The Opportunity This is a unique, behind-the-scenes role within the supply team, sitting between procurement, the workshop, and the customer. You'll be responsible for assessing incoming jewellery pieces, determining repair vs replace outcomes, and managing the journey from intake through to final QA. It's a highly detail-driven role combining product knowledge, decision-making, and communication - ideal for someone who understands jewellery but is looking to step away from the bench or retail floor. Key Responsibilities Inspect and assess customer jewellery items for repair or replacement Liaise with jewellers and workshop teams on required work Quality assure items on intake and before dispatch Provide quotes and updates to customers via phone and admin systems Work closely with procurement and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow What We're Looking For Strong jewellery knowledge (retail, workshop, or manufacturing background) Exceptional attention to detail Confident phone and administrative skills Ability to make informed decisions on repairs and product quality A team player who enjoys a positive, fun environment Highly Regarded Gemmology qualifications (GIA or similar) Diamond grading experience Valuation experience or industry memberships What's In It For You Monday to Friday roster (option for Tuesday to Saturday if preferred) 8:30am - 5:00pm hours No late nights or public holidays Closed over Christmas Free on-site parking Salary from $70K Super (highly flexible for the right experience) If you've built strong jewellery knowledge and are ready for a fresh challenge off the tools or away from retail sales, this is a rare opportunity to step into a stable, specialised role within a great team.
