KPST is a high-profile State Government agency managing a premier multi-purpose venue that hosts over 45 events annually, welcoming more than 400,000 visitors.
About the Opportunity
Employed by gforce, a Group Training Organisation, and hosted at KPST, this full-time traineeship is aligned with KPST's Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan, which aims to create meaningful employment pathways for First Nations people. As a gforce Business Administration Trainee, you will work alongside the KPST's experienced team who deliver inclusive, high-quality sports and entertainment events and maintain the world-class venue GMHBA Stadium.
About the Role
You will provide key support across a range of administrative and operational functions, including:
general administration tasks such as document handling, data entry, and email correspondence
supporting ongoing stakeholder relationships with presentations, meeting coordination, and relationship management
updating digital content and assisting with internal events
assisting with customer service and visitor enquiries
assisting with the rostering and booking of logistics and service contractors
helping with stocktake and inventory checks of the stadium equipment and assets
About the Successful Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
detail-oriented, reliable, and enthusiastic with a can-do attitude
have a passion for community engagement and events
skilled in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
a confident communicator with great interpersonal skills
able to work both independently and collaboratively in a small team
a Year 12 VCE/VCAL graduate
What to Expect
This is a full-time position, working 38 hours per week (Monday to Friday). You will also be provided with time during the week to complete your TAFE training. You will receive award wages, ongoing support and mentoring to ensure you successfully complete your Certificate III in Business Administration.
