In this client facing role, you’ll lead the way in crafting innovative solutions for our quarry and mining clients!Responsibilities May Include:Collaborating with clients to deliver practical and cost-effective solutions.Negotiating prices and rates with subcontractors and suppliers.Estimating from first principles.Preparing Scope of Works for Design & Construct projects.Conducting on-site visits to understand client needs and gather information for estimates.Identifying and assessing financial, technical, or execution risks.Working closely with workshop and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.About You:This role would suit a current or upcoming Workshop Supervisor who is looking to progress their career.Trade qualification OR background in Fabrication / Boiler making.Extensive experience in a workshop environment.Excellent communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritise tasks.Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.Can interpret technical drawings with precision.Attention to detail, accuracy, and a proactive attitude.Experience with Autodesk Inventor is advantageous.Strong work ethic and customer focus.Exposure to mechanical plant and equipment estimating is advantageous.Self-motivated and capable of working independently.Project management experience is a plus!We offer an attractive remuneration package tailored to your skills and experience.
