About the RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Assistant Director Procurement to lead our Procurement and Programs Team.
This is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing procurement, contract management, and program performance, ensuring robust governance and alignment with CSQ's strategic objectives.
As Assistant Director, you will lead a team of dedicated professionals, foster continuous improvement in procurement processes, and explore innovative models that maximise workforce development outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team across procurement, contract management, program performance, and data support functions.
Manage the annual procurement process, ensuring competitive, fair, and transparent practices that align with CSQ objectives.
Oversee contract management systems and processes, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including RTOs, suppliers, government agencies, and industry partners.
Lead planning, evaluation, and development of programs, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
Represent CSQ professionally at public forums, conferences, and industry events.
You will bring
Experience leading teams and implementing innovative procurement models.
Extensive experience in procurement, contract management, or grants management, ideally within a regulated Not-for-Profit environment or the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector.
Highly developed communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
High-level analytical, problem-solving, and reporting capability.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities.
Project management expertise and experience preparing high-quality executive advice.
