We are seeking a Quality Assurance Professional to join our team in Sydney, Australia.
Job Overview
The ideal candidate will have experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, and product development. They will be responsible for defining, developing, and executing processes that deliver high-quality products.
* Investigate and troubleshoot product and production issues, raise non-conformance tickets for triage, support product traceability, take corrective action as well as define and implement standards/specifications/processes across the QMS.
The successful applicant will also have experience working with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure the deployment of reliable products that meet all mission requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Work in a modern manufacturing environment supporting incoming inspection, in-process inspection, and end-of-line inspection.
* Lead Material Review Board processes to ensure timely resolution of non-conformances.
* Propose, develop, and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to support AS9100/ISO9001 certification.
* Support ongoing development of manufacturing work instructions.
* Review and propose continuous improvement projects for productivity gains, quality improvements, and benefits to Anduril's quality policy.
* Support the calibration process of test equipment, jigs, and fixtures.
* Support internal and external audits on processes and procedures.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar technical field.
* Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality in aerospace/defense/maritime or similar hardware.
* Working knowledge of design review and quality management of PCBA, harnessing, avionics, systems integration, composites, propulsion systems, and welding.
* Experience driving product quality and performance requirements to test and measurement system development and optimization.
* Working knowledge of product development methodologies such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) elements such as Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
* Working knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical manufacturing processes.
* A strong ownership mindset with demonstrated capability to drive projects from start to completion.
* Analytical skills and experiences for data mining, data quality, metrics generation, issue management systems, and statistical analysis tools (MatLab, JMP, MiniTab, etc).
* Ability to obtain and maintain an NV2 Security Clearance.
