* Prepare, maintain, and organise laboratory equipment, materials, chemicals, and resources.
* Prepare solutions, media, stains, and resources for practical classes.
* Support practical classes, excursions, incursions, and competitions.
Maintaining a clean, secure and well-maintained laboratory environment is crucial to the success of our Science program. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Laboratory Preparation: Prepare, maintain, and organise laboratory equipment, materials, chemicals, and resources.
2. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration and troubleshooting.
3. Chemical Management: Manage laboratory chemicals, including ordering, storage, and disposal.
4. Practical Class Support: Support practical classes, excursions, incursions, and competitions.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a technical support role.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies.
* Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and regulations.
