Springwood - Mid Blue Mountains location Casual and Permanent opportunities on offer, with up to $35.98 p/h relevant loadings Monday to Friday shifts Morning availability and own transport are highly regarded Key Responsibilities You’ll provide care, companionship and emotional support to residents living in our aged care home, to help support their independence and improve their quality of life Providing daily living assistance such as showering, personal hygiene, dressing, help at mealtimes and with general mobility Assisting with medication and simple wound dressings and Supporting residents in community-based recreational and social activities. Qualification & Requirements Must hold a Certificate III or IV in Aged Care/Individual Support (Ageing), Previous experience in Aged Care or Community Care. (Highly desirable, not mandatory) Be adaptable, empathetic, and resourceful, and you will be able to live Uniting’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold. Provide a culturally safe and inclusive work environment. Ability to adapt to changing shifts if required. A genuine passion for elderly care, empathy, patience, and strong communication skills.
