Overview
The Rugby Farming Group is a large market leading Australian farming operation, growing, packing and transporting fresh vegetables to both domestic and export markets.
We currently have positions available for Workshop Hands to join our busy Workshop team. Based at our Gatton site these roles play a key part in supporting our operations. Most of these roles involve weekend and/or roster work.
Responsibilities
* Commitment to safe work practices
* Repairs and maintenance of a variety of agricultural equipment and machinery
* Assisting with routine preventative servicing
* Welding and fabrication work
* Assisting to carry out fault finding
* General workshop duties as required
* Travel to attend breakdowns on farm in a company provided vehicle
Skills and Qualifications
* A good knowledge of general machinery maintenance
* Excellent work ethic and a high level of workmanship
* Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment
* Relevant Trade Qualifications are not essential but would be viewed favourably
* Current Manual Drivers Licence
* Mechanically minded individuals are encouraged to apply
