Bakers Delight Gungahlin is looking for a motivated and reliable Baker to join our team. We are committed to delivering high-quality bread and baked goods fresh each day, while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail bakery environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, mix, knead, mould, proof, bake, and finish a variety of breads and bakery products in line with recipes and production schedules.
* Operate bakery equipment including mixers, ovens, proofers, and other tools in a safe and efficient manner.
* Monitor dough development, baking times, and oven temperatures to ensure consistency and product quality.
* Maintain high standards of presentation and freshness for all bakery items.
* Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
* Assist with stock control, ingredient rotation, and ordering to support daily production requirements.
* Work effectively as part of a team in a busy bakery environment.
* Support customer service needs when required and contribute to the smooth operation of the bakery.
