We're looking for experienced professionals to bring their skills to our team on a part-time basis (approximately 25 hours per week).

We have 4 vacancies available:3 x Food Services Assistant1 x Store person (preferably with hotel experience)These roles require the successful candidate to be available to work on a 7-day rotating roster, AM and PM shifts.AM shift - 5:45am - 14.30pmPM shifts - 14:30pm - 21:00pm and 16:30pm - 21:00pmAbout us Established in 2016, Gold Coast Private Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 339-bed facility located in the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct in Southport.
With 22 operating theatres, Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including, but not limited to, 24/7 Emergency Care, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care, and Oncology.

As a Food Services Assistant, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:Provide exceptional customer/patient service by preparing and serving food throughout the facility / designated area, including, setting up, plating, and distributing food and beverages and by participating in food safety processesAssist in general cleaning of kitchen equipment and utensils including dish and pot washing as requiredAct as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting a professional and positive team culture, communicating and offering help to team members and liaising with other staff to create an experience that makes a differenceBe comfortable working with equipment such as food trolleys and carrying food traysAs a Store person, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:Inventory management - keeping track of stock levels ensuring sufficient supplies are available to meet hospital demandsStock rotation - ensure proper stock rotation to prevent spoilage or expiration of goodsKeep storage area clean, tidy, and uncluttered to ensure efficient operation and safetyCleaning the coolroom floorsPot washingProvide exceptional service to hospital staff, assisting with queries and resolving issues related to inventoryEssential Criteria:Authority to Work in AustraliaExperience in Healthcare/hospitality (preferred)Working with Children check (if relevant)Commitment to service excellenceStrong time management and prioritisation skillsExcellent communication and customer service abilitiesKeen attention to detailWork well independently and within a teamAvailable for on-call shiftsHealthscope, where career means more!
